MICRO BEACON
Micro Beacon
Micro Beacon is used as location marks for TAN’s proprietary Local Positioning System based on patented Signal Collider Technology. The Micro Beacons are stand-alone devices, which do not require hard-wired network infrastructure connectivity. Pre-packaged for indoor or outdoor environments, the Micro Beacon comes with AC, DC, or battery power options for wire-free installation.
Features
Real-time monitored and configured over the air
Small footprint, low power device
It does not require hard-wired connectivity
Flexible software-controlled features
Plug & Play installation with wireless auto-detect features
Benefits
Low cost – The Micro Beacon is a wire-free, low-cost device. A single Micro Beacon includes four independent beacon devices in one box and simultaneously operates over multiple radio frequencies.
Low maintenance – The Micro Beacons are wirelessly monitored and managed, making them practically maintenance-free with simple, one-time installation.
Plug & play – All you need to do is plug the Micro Beacon into an electrical socket or switch on the battery-powered model. If your business environment layout changes, Micro Beacons support over-the-air programming for on-the-fly re-deployment.
BRIDGE PORT
Bridge Port is a main RF communication gateway. Mobile devices (tags and beacons) communicate with the system via Bridge Ports (BP). Each BP consists of a Base Station device, a bi-directional RF amplifier, and accessories.
Features
433 MHz or 915MHz ISM frequency bands with global coverage.
Remote configuration with real-time software monitoring tools.
Indoor or outdoor operations (antenna may vary).
Up to one-mile range with complete bi-directional communications.
Benefits
Reliable and straightforward – robust hardware design, redundant architecture enabled, the Bridge Port has been used in challenging environments.
Low maintenance – The Bridge Port supports the network upgrade and is continuously monitored by network services.
Plug & play – All you need to do is plug the Bridge Port into the network. Mobile Bridge packages allow cellular backhaul to remove cabled connections altogether, delivering a true plug & play solution to remote sites and mobile platforms.
The Bridge Port is available for indoor or outdoor operations, with custom models optimized for vehicle mounting, airborne operability, or wall-mount.
The Bridge Port is available in autonomous customized packages that include GPRS/3G/LTE backhaul wireless communication options, 802.11n Wi-Fi access point, or bridge connectivity. It incorporates a GPS device to address varying operating environments to address unit location when mounted in vehicles. The network design further supports a redundant, overlapping architecture for increased reliability.
The Bridge Port is low maintenance, stand-alone device functioning over TCPIP networks – such as Ethernet, wireless LAN, or cellular bridged. Utilizing two alternative ISM license-free frequency bands, the Bridge Port has an effective wireless range of up to one mile almost anywhere around the globe. It is configurable over the network and, by default, includes four RF channels and a GPS receiver.
